Ventilated Facades

Mazista Tiles has recently launched its new range of Ventilated Facades, an optimum wall cladding system that, together with the appropriate installation, meets the needs of today’s market.

A Ventilated Facade system is made up of a support structure with 3 key elements: bracket, profile and fastening or staple. The main aim of the fastening system is to withstand the weight of the facing and the forces produced by natural forces.

The fastening is attached mechanically to the tile using staples or hooks that transmit the shear stress and allow the facing to dilate and contract freely. The fastening is connected to the vertical profiles by means of self-tapping screws.

The function of the vertical profiles is to gather the mechanical forces produced by the fastening system and pass them on to the structure of the building. In order to withstand these forces, the profiles are attached to the wall of the building using brackets.

This simple to assemble system provided by Mazista Tiles, together with the movements allowed by the fastening system,
ensures the tiles are correctly aligned vertically, thereby preserving the quality of the facade’s appearance.
